Sick of Being Sick

OK! Enough already! I think I have been chronically ill for the last month. It really makes you realize how much we take our health for granted. I can't even imagine what people feel like that deal with illness their entire lives. After being plagued with the stomach virus three times, 2 colds, and now something nasty (I'm going to the Dr. today to get a diagnosis), I'm just ready to feel good again.

Thank goodness for my sweet friends from Atlanta coming down to take me to lunch. If it wasn't for them I might have stayed in the bed all day on my 30th birthday. I went to bed around 7:00 p.m. last night. Anyone who knows me, sickness is confirmed when I even entertain the idea of going to bed before 10:00 p.m.

So the real reason for the post? What do you take to scare away illness? Do you take a certain multi-vitamin every day? Do you take a certain herb? Do you use an over the counter drug? I'm up for any suggestions. The best I've ever felt is when I was taking prescription pre-natal vitamins. They were OH SO GOOD to my body, but they were a little pricey. At this point, price is worth being well. So help me my online community. Make me well.
