Redneck Winter

There is nothing we like better in the Sisler household than having a redneck summer. Most summer nights we like to sit in our backyard, grill, let the kids run around half naked (if not completely naked, drink a beer, and enjoy life. That is one our favorite parts of the summer. Sometimes we even just bring the shampoo outside and give the kids a bath in the hose. I know, we are verging on high society here.

Well when the temps went up this past weekend, we were in hog heaven. Who cares if it is technically winter if it feels like summer.


What defines a redneck winter? I think the following pictures may help....

Well it started off with our naked son playing peek-a-boo in the grill cover.

Then big daddy put some chicken on the grill while our diapered baby was attached to the thigh.

The only logical thing for the hubby to do while the chicken is cooking is finish is wood stack for next winter's wood. (Gotta let it season for a year so it burns REEAAALLL good.)

Then a couple of photo ops while the kids are snacking on an appetizer of goldfish.

Then we will conclude by the baby eating beside Gigi's dog. Because who would let such good goldfish go to waste. I mean if they are good enough for the dog off the ground..... why not a baby.

She is so proud of herself for saving such valuable goldfish!

Ahhhhhhhh! Now that's a good night. Can't wait for summer!
